The Story
Overview
In December 2007, our hero and heroine were joined in marriage. It was a beautiful affair, and there are photos of this circulating around the 'net as we speak. For their honeymoon, they decided to go to Innsbruck, Austria, a smallish city located in the Alps, world famous for its skiing. As they both like skiing, they figured that it would be a wonderful thing to do; experience another country's culture, cooking, mountains, etc.
They purchased a package which encompassed everything they would need. Leaving January 2, 2008, they took a flight from San Jose to Dulles International Airport, then from there to Frankfurt, Germany, and finally flew into Innsbruck. Their stay was to be for 12 days at a four-star hotel called the Grauer Bãr, a scant few minutes' walk from the old section of town, and centrally located for public transportation, shopping, and other creature comforts. The package included 5 days' worth of ski passes, not to mention breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, so the only thing they had to worry about was renting skis, lunch, and transportation while they were there.
The Episodes
Josh, being an avid picture taker (he hasn't quite risen to the status of photographer yet; he's just one dSLR away from that status) has made sure to get quite a few photograps of the trip. I think the last count was almost 1,100 with 300 being scrapped for various reasons. Don't worry, we won't show you all of them in this part! He also recorded the days' activities and reflections so he can look back on what happened with slightly better recollection. After Shanin's edits and coloration, he created a virtual online trip so you can go back through their trip to Innsbruck.

The Pictures
Of course, some of you out there may just want to jump straight into the pictures. Or maybe you want to see just pictures of certain categories. Lucky for you, you can apply filters, so if you want to see just pictures of buildings, mountains, the Kaiserliche Hofburg, or whatever, you will be able to.
